FUTO Pre-Degree Admission Application Form is Out – 2017/18

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) Pre-Degree programmes for the 2017/2018 academic session.

CANDIDATES ELIGIBLE FOR FUTO PRE-DEGREE.

1. Interested candidates must possess at least five O’level credit in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Agricultural Science.

2. Must have registered or intend to registered for the 2018 UTME.

FUTO PRE-DEGREE FORM PRICE.

Each FUTO pre-degree application form goes for Eleven Thousand Naira(N11,000) .

HOW TO APPLY FOR FUTO PRE-DEGREE FORM.

Candidates are advised to apply on-line following the procedure given below:

Step 1: Go to the FUTO Website – www.futo.edu.ng

Step 2: Click on Prospective Students.

Step 3: Go to 2017/2018 Pre Degree Application Form

Step 4: Click on generate 2017/2018 Pre Degree Application Invoice

Step 5: Enter your Telephone Number

Step 6: Click on Fill other required details

Step 7: Print your invoice containing your RRR code (Remita Retrieval Reference) and proceed to any bank for payment.

Step 8: After successful payment in bank, return to the portal

Step 9: Click on 2017/2018 Pre Degree Application

Step 10: Enter your phone number again and click on apply.

Step11: Proceed with the completion of the Application form.

Step 12: Print your application Acknowledgment slip

Step 13: Await further announcement from the University

DURATION OF SALES OF FUTO-PRE-DEGREE FORM.

The closing date for online submission of completed application forms is January 31, 2018.

Germany Visa Lottery Application Form 2018… Before you make haste to apply, you must know the type of visa you will be applying for as this is one of the major problems faced by citizens who are about to obtain their visa. Are you going there as a student or a tourist or a business official? This is because there are different visas for different category of people.

Step 1 – Prepare your visa application

You’ll need to apply for the type of visa that relates with your intentions for going to Germany. Prepare the visa fees and the entire document which will be required before applying

Step 2 – Make an appointment

It is mandatory that you book an appointment before you can go to the Application center to submit your documents for a German VISA. All visa applications are accepted only if you have made prior appointment.

Step 3 – Go to the Application Center

After you arrive at the Application Center, your appointment letter will be verified and you will be issued a token. Please be on time, the embassy may not be able to process your visa request if you are late formore than 10 minutes.

Step 4 – Visa application submission

The submission process generally takes 10 minutes to complete. Your documents and visa application form will be checked and verified. Please make sure that:

All your documents are arranged in the order stated on the checklist
Your application form is complete and signed
You will be asked to collect another token if the visa application form is incomplete, you have not arranged the documents in the required order or you have not provided all the necessary photocopies of documents.
If the application is complete your passport, application form and documents will be held temporarily by the application center. Please note that you cannot take the passport during the application process with you, if you have to take your passport for whatever reason the application will be canceled and you will need to re-apply.
Step 5 – Entering of application information
After the verification of your application, all the application form information will be entered into the online system of the German consulate and you will receive a printed copy of your application. This process usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes. After you get the printed form please make sure to verify all the details are correct and sign the form.
Please note that forms for minors (up to 18 years) have to be signed by both parents.
After you pay for the visa you will be issued a receipt which you have to keep in order to collect your processed application.
Step 6 – Biometric data collection
Once the application has been completed, biometrics will be collected using a quick process that captures a 10-digit fingerprint scan with a digital finger scanner. This will usually take 7-8 minutes per applicant. Make sure to keep the payment receipt as this is required to collect your passport.
However, it should be noted that, handwritten forms will not be accepted. Every document should be typed and printed before submission.

UNILORIN’s Best & Worst Graduates Get Scholarship To Study In Oxford

Two best graduates, male & female and two worst graduates, male & female in the 2016/2017 academic sessions of the University of Ilorin, have been awarded scholarships to study in Oxford, UK.

The announcement, made by the registrar of the university, Emmanuel Obafemi, at the second day of the 33rd convocation of the university on Saturday, was greeted by loud ovation at the event.

He said that the cumulative grade performance aggregate (CGPA) determined the beneficiaries.

The scholarship awards were presented to the graduates by an international scholar, chair and founder of Excellence in Education Programme, Oxford, UK, Professor Chris Imafidon,

Prof. Imafidon, who had argued, while delivering the 33rd convocation lecture of the university, entitled, The Genius in You, said there was no worst graduates, but rather, the country was blessed with human resources, and he planned to turn them all to geniuses.

47th Convocation: UNN Notice to All Graduands

As you are aware, the 47th Convocation Ceremony of the University of Nigeria holds on December 1 – 2, 2017. Consequently, all graduands are expected to pay the convocation levy in readiness for the exercise. The process flow for the payment is as follows:

Log on to the University Portal [email protected];
Enter your Student login details (Username and Password);
Click on Convocation Levy;
Generate invoice;
Make payment using your ATM card or at designated banks;
Print Convocation receipt;
Proceed to your Faculty Officer to collect your Convocation gown;

Please note:

All graduands without portal account should visit the ICT, Zenith Bank building to have their accounts created;
All Postgraduate graduands are also expected to pay for the Convocation gowns using their Students account as stated above, and proceed to School of Postgraduate Studies for collection of their gowns.

Delta State Poly Ozoro HND 2nd Batch Admission List 2017/2018 Released

The management of Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro has released the 2nd Batch Admisison List, Higher National Diploma (HND) programme for 2017/2018 academic session.

The list of admitted candidates is yet to be made available online.

However, the names of admitted candidates are available on the school's notice board.

Candidates are therefore advised to proceed to the school's notice board to check if they have been offered admission.

UNIZIK Notice To Candidates Not Offered Admission, 2017/2018 Session

All candidates who applied for admission into Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and who made the University their first choice in the 2017/2018 academic session and also scored 40 and above in the UTME screening test but were not admitted can now apply for admission into our affiliate institutions: Federal College of Education (Technical) Umunze, Enugu State College of Education (Technical), Enugu and Auchi Polytechnic.

The requirements for admission are the same as in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. All interested candidates should apply and submit their letters to the Admission office, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. The application is free of charge
